24-72 Hours After Water Damage: What to Check Before Mold Starts
Water damage does not end when the standing water is gone. The next 24 to 72 hours are critical because moisture can stay hidden under flooring, behind baseboards, inside wall cavities, around cabinets, and near HVAC components.

1. Check for hidden moisture
